We partner with the U.S. military to develop carbon nanomaterials from domestic feedstock. This program includes the following areas of focus:

Carbon nanotubes and graphene produced from coal
Carbon nanomaterial additives for concrete and asphalt pavements
Low resource pavement enhancement
Additive construction concretes
Improvements to ADR practices and traditional airfield surfaces

Kinetic and
Non-Kinetic Protection

We partner with the U.S. Army and private industry to develop kinetic and non-kinetic protection for unmanned systems and other sensitive technologies. This program includes the following areas of focus:

Innovative EMF shielding
Low weight/high strength plating for unmanned systems
Coatings that provide EMF protection
EMF shielding fillers
High performance armoring

Arctic and Indo-Pacific Defense Technologies
